How to play
Line of Five in one minute
The board shows every playing card twice, except the jacks. The four corners are free squares that count for everyone.
On your turn, play a card from your hand and put a chip on one of the two squares showing that card. Then draw. You can also tap a lit square straight away and the matching card is played for you.
Black jacks are wild: place a chip on any open square. Red jacks cut: remove one opponent chip that is not already in a finished line.
If both squares for a card are taken, the card is dead. Once per turn you can swap a dead card for a fresh one before you play.
Five chips in a row - across, down or diagonally - make a line. Those chips lock and cannot be cut. A new line may share one chip with an older line.
Before you start, pick two or three teams, how many players sit on each (up to four), and how many lines win, from one to five. Teammates share one colour and alternate turns; a red jack cannot remove a teammate's chip. The usual match is two teams racing to two lines, or three teams racing to one. If nobody can move, or only jacks are left in play, the team with the most lines wins.
