Pass and play

Two to four people take turns on one ring. Every pop scores for whoever fired it; the highest score when the ring is cleared, or overrun, wins.

Online rooms take up to four players from different devices. Everyone gets the same ring and the first to clear it wins; the match runs directly between your browsers and nothing is stored on a server.

      How to play

      Spinburst

      • Aim by dragging anywhere on the screen, then let go to fire. On a keyboard, Left and Right turn the aim, Space fires, Shift swaps the next bubble.
      • The ring turns the whole time and every shot bends toward the core. The dotted line shows where this shot will land, including the bend.
      • Three or more of a colour touching pop. Anything no longer connected to the core is cut loose and flies off for a bigger bonus.
      • Every few shots the ring grows on the outside. If any bubble reaches the red danger ring, the level is lost. Clear the ring to win it.
      • Grey stones have no colour. The only way to remove one is to cut it loose.
      • Each colour carries its own small shape, so the game is playable without telling the colours apart.

      Modes

      • Play levels - endless levels that turn faster, add colours, grow quicker and bring in stones as you climb. Your progress is remembered on this device.
      • Race the computer - you and the computer get the same ring. First to clear it wins; if one side is overrun, the other wins.
      • Pass and play - two to four people share one ring and take turns. Each pop scores for whoever fired it.
      • Online room - up to four players, each on their own copy of the same ring. First to clear wins; if everyone is overrun, the highest score does.
